Robert Halfon MP for Harlow steps in to help Big Ear Radio

Conservative Party Portraits
Rt. Hon. Robert Halfon MP
Chair of the Commons Education Select Committee

Has stepped in to assist Big Ear Radio in an attempt to advance the progress of registration as a CIO Company with the Charity Commission in the UK.

Registration is essential if we are to be able to pursue sponsorship and donations, essential to fund our progress and ongoing development.

Funds urgently required for a new Live Broadcast Studio

Our current output relies on 20+ hours a week of pre-recorded content, but it is essential to move to phase two and offer live content that includes much more than music.

It has always been our intention to feature more news and factual content, alongside drama, comedy, game shows, documentaries, interviews and so-on.

Delays in Charitable registration have placed Big Ear Radio at severe risk as we battle to maintain our position without any significant support from sponsors or donors.

It is hoped that Mr Halfon's intervention will expedite matters and enable Big Ear to secure the support it needs to satisfy a growing and vital audience.
