Britain, is in mourning

HM-The-Queen-ONLINE-USE-ONLY

Queen Elizabeth II, has died at the age of 96, on the afternoon of the 8th of September 2022.

She died peacefully with all her family around her, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, her favourite home and the place where she was said to be the happiest.

She reigned over Britain and the Commonwealth for a record 70 years.

It was reported that in 2021 she was sad to leave Balmoral at the end of her annual visit, saying to a member of her staff that, next time, she must stay a little longer. She always slept better and longer at Balmoral and now she sleeps, forever.

It has been said by many that she was loved, not just by her own nation, but by many nations around the World. She had visited over 100 countries during her reign, far more than any royal, before her.

For the UK, it feels like we have lost the head of the family, a wonderful Grandmother, who was always watching over us with love, great dignity and pride.

Britain will mourn the loss of its, “Queen of the World” as it celebrates the beginning of a whole new era, in its history.

The entire team of Equal Ability Radio, “Big Ear”, send their deepest sympathy to the Royal family at this very sad time.

Britain now has a new King, her eldest son and the former Prince of Wales, King Charles III.

God Bless and rest in peace, Queen Elizabeth II and long live King Charles III.
