Charlie Agar joins Big Ear Radio

Charlie Agar

Occasionally we discover an amazing new team member quite by accident. We encountered Charlie Agar via his Dad David on LinkedIn. David was telling us about his extremely passionate gardening son Charlie who, despite his Autism and Dyslexia, was achieving great things in the world of horticulture.

Charlie's career is genuinely blooming!

As one of just 5 specially selected candidates to join the Royal Horticultural Society Professional study course, Charlie is exceptionally placed to build a real career as one of the nations top gardeners.

Watch out Alan Titch marsh

We are delighted to welcome him as a team member at Big Ear Radio and will be watching his progress with great interest, while encouraging and supporting him all along the way.

Each month Charlie will be delivering a new insight into the jobs requiring attention in an English country garden for that time of year.

The Yorkshire Soul Gardener

After spending his days in the garden, Charlie likes nothing better than to listen to his other passion, Soul Music, and he wanted to combine these two interests into a show for Big Ear Radio. Well, of course, we were delighted to be able to make that happen and his first show appears this month right here exclusively on Big Ear.

So, if you love gardening and a bit of classic Soul music to keep you occupied - we can fill your boots with both.

Come and join Charlie, exclusively on Big Ear Radio. See the schedule for shows repeated twice a week.
