Big Ear Radio has two key objectives:
To provide a service that’s deeply relevant and supportive to listeners with disabilities, their families, carers, and anyone with an interest in disability.
To show all listeners that a radio station primarily staffed by presenters with disabilities can entertain, inform, and amuse just like any other.
Our Mission
Our mission is to foster better social integration and challenge the misconception that "disabled" means "less able" to accomplish any task or challenge.
Our broadcasts will feature content that resonates with our listeners, addressing gaps often overlooked by mainstream media.
Big Ear Radio will play a vital role in promoting inclusion and fostering better integration. What could be more important than that?
