Kris Foster Campaign Announcement

Kris Foster, is all about creating influence and works to achieve real change for the disabled community.

The following message was taken from his recent post on Linked In.

This week pushed me to my breaking point, and I’m not alone.

As a disabled and neuro-die-vergent person, I’m exhausted by systems that dehumanise, overlook, and dismiss us.

That’s why on the 21st of May, we’re demanding better.

We’re showing up in Westminster to say::

No more benefit cuts. No more decisions about us, without us.

If you say you stand with disabled people now is the time to act.

This week broke me.

I’ve been masking my way through each day.
Pretending I’m okay.
Worrying about outcomes I have no control over.
Wondering if I’ll ever be “good enough” in the eyes of a system that wasn’t built to see my worth.

I’m tired.

Tired of having to justify my life to people who do not know me.
Tired of decisions being made about me, without me.
Tired of being treated like a number in a system that strips away our dignity.

On Wednesday, a friend saw, what I couldn’t say.
They gave me space to break without judgment, without fixing.
That moment reminded me: we all deserve to be seen and supported.
But too often, disabled people are left behind unheard, uninvited, unseen.

And that’s why I’m speaking up.

Because, this isn’t just about me.

This is about every disabled person who has been forced to fight for recognition.

Every neuro-die-vergent person spoken about in rooms we’ve been excluded from.

We need to be in those rooms.
We need to sit at the table.
We need to stop being spoken about, in front of us.

To everyone who says they care, this is the time to act.
Not in theory. In practice.

On the 21st of May, we are gathering at Westminster for the Mass Lobby Against Benefit Cuts.

We will meet with MPs, face-to-face, and demand they vote against devastating cuts that put disabled lives, independence, and futures at risk.

1pm to 4pm at the Jubilee Room, Westminster Lobby.

Even if your MP hasn’t replied, come anyway.

Even if you can’t be there in person, there are other ways to show up.

And if you can’t be there, use your platform to share the date and help us be heard.

This isn’t just a policy issue.
It’s about our humanity.
And we are not going quietly.
