A Big Ear Radio Partner is entering into a development partnership with a Canadian company, to work on a new project aimed at improving accessibility at airports for Deaf travellers, particularly in relation to boarding announcements
and transit information.
An initial discussion meeting is being arranged at
Gatwick Airport.
In the spirit of;
"Nothing About Me Without Me"
they are inviting the cooperation of two Deaf participants.
Their insights and feedback will be essential in ensuring the project truly reflects the needs of the Deaf community.
Ideally, one of them would be a CODA, or an interpreter, to help ensure the precise delivery of information to Gatwick staff.
